I’m Asher Kilbride. I’ve spent over a decade working in the UK energy sector, tracking energy markets, policy, brokers & TPIs, and the executives and regulators who shape them. I started this newsletter on a simple premise: to talk about all things energy — the good, the bad, the great, and the not so great.

That’s what The Energy Ledger is for.

Each week, I read through the industry noise and tell you what actually matters and why. Not headlines repackaged. Not cheerleading for renewables or nostalgia for fossil fuels. Just clear-eyed synthesis from someone whose job is to have already done the reading. The first full issue lands this week.
